Canyon Lake Events

With dozens of events each year, there's plenty to do for all ages.  From exhilarating outdoor adventures to heartwarming community gatherings, Canyon Lake is brimming with a myriad of activities all year round. There is a diverse array of events that can transform your ordinary days into unforgettable experiences. Here are just some of the events you can look forward to as a resident:

Fiesta Day Parade - The biggest event of the year with a community parade that finishes at the lodge where there are booths, vendors, events and more.  It's an all day celebration of Canyon Lake and it's residents.

Taco Tuesday's at the Lodge all summer long - Entertainment, tacos and margaritas; how can you go wrong with that lineup.  Every Tuesday at the Lodge and Sunset Beach from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

4th of July Fireworks - One of the best displays in Southern California, this phenomenal show is launched from Skipper's Island.  Lots of places to watch the show from but the best is from your boat floating on the water right under the night sky.

Paddle and Peddle Regatta - Learn to paddle board or just bring your own gear if you're already a paddler.  Starting at Indian Beach and cruising together with 200-300 people down the East Bay, this is a fun summer event.

Summer Movie Nights at the Pool - Catch a flick with the family at the pool (or in the pool).  Perfect scenery with the lake right behind you and your family and friends all around you.

Canyon Lake Car Show - This is another big event every year in October.  Classic hot rods, customs, and unique whips all assemble at the lodge.  There's food, music and good times for car collectors and admirers.

Rocktoberfest - Hoist a stein at this fun event that features brews, good food, and entertainment.

Parade of Frights - Bring the kiddos in costume to the Canyon Lake Towne Center and make the rounds at local business that will load them up with candy and treats.

Holiday Golf Cart Parade - Decorate your golf cart and follow the procession around the community and get a chance to win prizes. 

Breakfast with Santa - Another great event for the kiddos, Santa typically skis in to this lakeside event each year.

Holiday Boat Parade - A great event to watch from your home or one of the many beaches around Canyon Lake.  Or decorate your own boat and jump into the parade, and maybe take home first prize for best decor.

Polar Bear Day - Cold plunges are pretty popular these days and this one is extra fun because it's with friends and there's hot chocolate at the end.

Concerts at the Lodge/Park - Every year, Canyon Lake attracts some great musical talent for performances at the lodge and at Holiday Harbor.  There have been many famous headliners over the years and the quality of the small venues can not be beat.
